It’s that time of year again folks. The one where I ask you to donate a little bit of money for something I think is a great cause. So much so, that I willingly take the beauty that is my face and make it look ridiculous. But all for a charity, of course.
I don’t know if you noticed it, but unfortunately to me MOvember doesn’t seem to be getting the attention this year that it has in the past. Maybe people are tired of seeing moustaches. Maybe people feel bad for always asking their same friends and family for money (like I kind of do right now). I’m not sure what it is, but I definitely have noticed a lot fewer moustaches around town this year. Which I’m sure some women are kind of happy about.
However, I still believe in the cause and wanted to participate again this in MOvember.
There’s a history of prostate cancer, which is one of the main charity causes MOvember raises funds for. I’m getting to the point where I’ll have to start getting regular check-ups to check for it (which I’m very much not looking forward to, for those of you who know how they check). So, not only can doing this help the people that need it today, it might also help me in the future.
BUT, before I ask you for your money, I would like to treat you to a show to earn it.
This year, I decided that I should really do something to earn the money I was asking for. So, I did not shave A moustache on to my face. This year I shaved THREE moustaches into my face. That’s right ladies and gentleman, I said three different moustaches.
So, for your viewing (dis)pleasure, I present to you the road from baby face to my third moustache that was just shaved in this morning:
And now, if you can stop laughing long enough to focus for a minute, this is the part when I ask you for money.
If you got a laugh out of of those pictures of me, appreciate all the effort I went to, or just want to support a good cause, please donate to my MOvember fund. How much is of no concern, because even if a bunch of people donate a little each, a whole lot of littles can equal a lot.
And thank you in advance.
